« Callichurn fode pa gagn enn vot simpati, mem ki lin fer ». Statements from Navin Ramgoolam, who declared war on his opponent in seat No. 5 (Pamplemousses/Triolet).
At an organizational meeting of the Alliance of Change, held on Monday, October 7 in Triolet, the Labour Party leader kicked off the first salvo.
Ramgoolam also hinted at releasing compromising information about an MSM minister in the near future.
Commenting on the significance of the upcoming general elections on November 10, the former Prime Minister urged voters to “vote blok.”
“Are you going to vote for someone based on community, caste, or religion? It’s better to vote for someone who can serve the country,” Ramgoolam declared.
It’s worth noting that Ramgoolam faced defeat in his stronghold of Pamplemousses-Triolet during the December 2014 general elections.
