The leaders of the Alliance for Change, namely those of the Labor Party, the MMM, and the New Democrats, will proceed to register the political grouping with the Electoral Commission this Friday, while awaiting the decision of Rezistans ek Alternativ. The Alliance of Change is currently comprised of the PTr, the MMM and the ND. Following a final meeting scheduled for Wednesday, the leaders of ReA are expected to confirm their participation in this alliance.

The registration of political parties will commence tomorrow and conclude on Friday. This information was provided in a press release from the Electoral Commissioner’s office. In the event of an alliance, the registration process will be conducted by the president and secretary of the respective parties involved. The representatives of each formation must present certified extracts of the minutes of the meetings during which decisions were taken. This is to enable the respective president and secretary of each party to submit the application for registration as an alliance of parties.

Furthermore, the countdown to the general election on 10 November has already begun. On the ground, the designated candidates are engaged in a range of activities, including prayer sessions organised as part of Navatri 2024, door-to-door visits and political meetings at the neighbourhood level.

Furthermore, the Alliance for Change will commence its campaign in the 20th constituency at a meeting in the Alex Vellin room on Wednesday, while the candidates for constituency no. 17 will inaugurate an office in Forest-Side on the same day. In the other constituencies of the island, there is a need to intensify mobilisation efforts within the limited timeframe available for the electoral campaign.
