    Nomination Day

    The submission of applications (Nomination Day) will take place on Tuesday, October 22, while the counting of ballots and the proclamation of results are scheduled for November 11.

    General Elections 2024 in Mauritius with two main alliances will face off: the government alliance, led by Pravind Jugnauth’s MSM and bringing together Ivan Collendavelloo’s Muvman Liberater, Steven Obeegadoo’s Militant Platform, and Alan Ganoo’s Muvman Patriote Morisien, potentially supported by the PMSD; and the Alliance of Change, composed of the Labour Party (PTr), the MMM, New Democrats and Rezistans ek Alternativ.

    Formations such as Roshi Bhadain’s Reform Party, Nando Bodha’s and Rama Valayden’s Linion Moris, and Cehl Meeah’s FSM, as well as extra-parliamentary parties and independent candidates, will also take part in the electoral race.
