Moreover, she acknowledged the help of her teammates. “We missed the early break and had to chase. My teammates did an incredible job getting me back in the front. Therefore, their belief in me really matters.”
She described her tactics in the closing kilometers. “I was in two key attacks with top riders. But there wasn’t enough teamwork in the lead group. We got caught. With 2 kilometers left, I repositioned for the sprint. Consequently, that helped me grab a top-10 finish.”
She added, “It’s not a podium, but it’s a big step forward. My legs feel good. I’m motivated for what’s ahead.”

Le Court-Pienaar will race again this Saturday, March 22nd. She’s set to compete at Milan-Sanremo Donne. The 156-kilometer route stretches from Genoa to Sanremo. It offers another chance for her to shine on both climbs and sprints.
